Community Arts Program Presents Showcase Performance

St. Lawrence NYSARC's Community Arts Program presented a Showcase featuring the artistic talents of people with disabilities on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at SUNY Canton's Kingston Memorial Theater. The family-friendly event included a one-act play, tap and jazz dancing, music performances and a visual art display.

St. Lawrence NYSARC's Community Arts Program presented a creative arts Showcase, sponsored by Alcoa Foundation, on Saturday, May 7th at SUNY Canton's Kingston Memorial Theater. The production featured: an original one-act murder mystery play, monologues, poetry readings, music performances, a puppet show, and a visual art display.

Sandra Sheehan from Alcoa's Massena Operations representing Alcoa Foundation presents a donation in support of the Community Arts Program to St. Lawrence NYSARC's Executive Director, Daphne Pickert and The Community Players.


The St. Lawrence NYSARC (www.slnysarc.org) Community Arts Program is made possible through a generous grant from the Alcoa Foundation. The program seeks to provide cultural opportunities to individuals with disabilities in the areas of theatre, music, dance and visual arts.
